As a vegetarian I loved the Vegetable Noodles! The vegetables were delicious
and very fresh. The service was also great! The pasta was very soft and smooth.
Pros: The delicious food

I took my fiance' for his birthday and was extremely pleased with the food.
The food was delicious and the service was exceptionally friendly. We will be
returning and bring others with us. This is the top Chinese cuisine in Atlanta.

If you are looking for great Asian cuisine, great service and friendly people,
please look no further than Grand China in Buckhead. The restaurant offers
excellent Chinese and Thai cuisine, as well as American versions of Chinese food
(fried rice, lo mein noodles, etc). If you are a repeat customer, the hostess
will remember you and your family and will come over to speak with you at your
table. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food at a
good price in the Atlanta area.

Grand china has the best food and service in atlanta I would recommend this
place for visitors and people who live in atlanta ...the best thing is the great
customer service you get when you walk in the door ..very elegant surroundings
and wonderful waiters..love every moments me and the wife spend at atlanta grand
china...

Very good chinese place. Highlyrecommended by my friends from schecuan. I would
recommendtheir buubletea. Starters were very tasty aswell.Quantities are

We have been looking for great chinese since we moved to Atlanta. We have
finally found it. We started off with the Zombie Drinks, (151, pineapple, and
orange juice, what else do you need!!) We had the hot and sour soup, and Tom Kah
Kai. It was the best we had since Thai town in LA. Absolutely great. Go for
extra spicy!! WOW. I had the Orange Chicken, it was perfect, not the breaded
kind as normally served. Shaved chicken, stir fried with orange peels and Thai
Peppers. It was fabulous, and enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. He had the
Green Curry. It was so good, including the whole green beans which added a
different flair. I recommend everything we had! It was great. We will be back !
Cant wait to try everything on the menu! Oh yeah, its divided into multiple
categories,so you can have chinese, thai, japenese, etc. !! Two words..... LOVE
IT!!! GIRL DOWN.... Im stuffed!

I was working at 2970 Peachtree Road in Buckhead and noticed "GRAND CHINA"
across the street. I decided to give them a try. I have now officially found the
BEST ORANGE CHICKEN IN ATLANTA. The atmosphere is very comforting and pleasant.
The staff is wonderful, but where this place really shines is their food.
Quality, quantity, presentation, everything about GRAND CHINA is five stars. No
yucky "breading" coated on the orange chicken, just thinly shaved slices of
whole white meat chicken. Wow !!! I can't say enough great things about this
restuarant. Stop by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I totally enjoyed the food, i dont like to eat at just any Asian resturant. The
food was great and the service was prompt.

my girlfriend and i stopped in Grand China while passing through atlanta this
weekend. without question we will come back whenever we are in the buckhead
area. the staff welcomed us as if we had been regulars for years. the owners
themselves came to make sure we were having a good time.......we had a great
time. i must say this will be a memory we will both hang on to forever. thanks

The food was excellent and worth the price at Grand China. I would definitely
come back again and recommend this to anyone coming from out of town.
Personally, I am from NYC and eat at lots places and this is up to standard
anywhere. The chicken/shrimp soup was the best I have ever had.

I must admit, we happened into Grand China Restaurant by accident, being lost in
Atlanta, yet had an experience that will bring us back again and again. While
the decor is most definitely to par with fine Atlanta dining, the prices were
very affordable for my three friends and myself who are all college students.
The menu was very impressive and offered an enormous selection of Chinese,
Japanese and Thai favorites. In fact, being vegan I'm often not able to enjoy
restaurants that my friends choose, yet found several selections that suited my
lifestyle and dietary needs. While we're not generally a high maintenance group,
this particular night we had several questions that the staff answered
impeccably. Not only explaining dishes and their ingredients, they even catered
to a friend in the group who asked for something not on the menu. During our
meal the owner came to our table in a very nonabrasive way and was so personable
and polite that she completely made our night. While I don't generally review
restaurants, this particular night I was definitely inspired and can honestly
recommend this particular one to everyone that may read this. It's often
difficult to find a truly impressive balance of decor, service, taste, price and
atmosphere, yet Grand China Restaurant has mastered it beautifully and should be
truly proud!!!
Christmas Day Feast, Ginger Lobster, & Mrs.Chang!

And this is not take-out/delivery! This is the ultimate Christmas Day feast, for
many of us. Jackie, the hostess, and Mrs. Chang, have created the most wonderul
holiday feast for us and our friends. Starting with the scallop soup, marinated
beef salad, and the divine Lobster In Ginger Sauce. It dosen't get any better
than this. The interior of this dining destination is soft pink, with black laq
trim. And we can't forget the warm Saki. Just wonderful, all the way around.

I was surprised when I came here for the first time. I thought, another ordinary
chinese restaurant. But I was absolutely wrong! The administrators in the
Atlanta International School strongly recommended me to dine here tonight. I
enjoyed really the food very much. Everything was just excellent! It' s great! I
recommend this exotic restaurant to you!

Service was excellent and quite attentive. The best orange chicken we've had in

It's Friday night and it's been a hard day's work! Me and my family and friends
start wishing we could go back to Grand China Restaurant where we were dining
last night. Then we started to get lost and we were about to give up. Our
grumbling bellies refused to cooperate and after several turns along Peachtree
Road, we found ourselves outside. We ordered the same food we did last night,
but agreed to try chicken with sesame seeds and fried snapper with ginger garlic
sauce. Would you believe, even the fortune cookies with sliced oranges are
inviting us back.

This was a great place to have a business lunch. food was awesome. service
fantastic. Try the garlic shrimp. really fresh shrimp and very crispy. had a
tropical drink called lemon drop. not to powerful but very tasty for lunch. The
kind to have so you can go back to work! maybe the best egg roll ever. Very
crispy! Highly recommend it.

The greatest chinese restaurant in Buckhead!! I have been here for lunch as well
as for dinner, and I must say that this is the best chinese restaurant I've been
so far!! You must come and try this experience with your wife and children. The
owners are great as well as the hostess! Their menu is very exotic - They even
have Thai and Japanese Food!!

The food is consistently good. We live in Northern Cobb County, but travel to
Buckhead to the Golden China when we have a taste for Chinese food. The service
is fast, and the hosts are very sociable.

I have been coming to Grand China for 11 years and continue to have wonderful
experiences. We don't live in Atlanta anymore but we make sure to eat here every
time we come into town. The food is wonderful and the staff is always helpful
and friendly. I highly recommend Grand China any time you arein Atlanta

I have been going to Grand China for over 25 years! It is the very best. All
special occasions in my family are celebrated at Grand China. And, we don't wait
for a special occasion all the time. We just go for the delicious food and the
relaxing atmosphere. There's no place like Grand China.

I have eaten at the Grand China since 1982 and have always enjoyed every meal.
The service is excellent and I have recommended it for any special occasion. The
hostess has ALWAYS added a personal touch to the service.
